Water Quality Reports
The Annual Water Quality Report provides information on the ecosystem health of Leon County’s lakes, streams, and rivers. The Leon County Water Quality Monitoring Program utilizes several methods to holistically monitor the biological, chemical, and physical condition of the waterbodies. This information, along with decades of historical data, is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the waterbody systems, comparing results year-to-year and analyzing for trends, all of which is compiled in the Water Quality Report.
The Water Quality Report is available through the Leon County Water Quality Journal, which provides an interactive experience including maps of the County’s drainage basins and waterbodies. The information provided through the Water Quality Journal is also available in a single document - 2024 Water Quality Report.
